Why Dear Family exists

Born from two different kinds of love.

None of our four kids ever got to meet my parents. Not one of them. They'll grow up never knowing their grandparents' voices — and that's something I carry every single day.

And then there's Joel's family. His parents — Tim and Carol — have been married almost 60 years. Both turning 80 this year. 19 grandchildren. One great-grandchild. A lifetime of stories that deserve to be captured.
